Our Wedding - Crafted with Love

For our wedding, I planned and crafted just about all of the details - it was my biggest craft project ever!  Needless to say, it was a lot of work but I enjoyed every moment of it.  Tim might tell you different because at times, I did drive him crazy with all of the details and timelines.

I wanted our wedding to be very personal - everything from the venue down to the smallest details had a personal touch.  We were married by my uncle Luis at Belle Isle State Park in Lancaster, VA on June 18, 2011 (week during the full moon - I love full moons).  We discovered this place on one of our boating/camping trips.  It was so beautiful and it reminded me of the Anne of Green Gable's home.

All of our flower arrangements and bouquets were made by my dear cousins and friends. I sewed the little lace ring pillow and sashes for the flower girls. I designed the invitations, save the dates and programs and I had help from friends to put the invites and programs together. Labels I made were tied to the votive candles and table centerpieces.  I seriously went DIY crazy on all of the details and branded everything with our wedding date.

Wine & Cheese Under the Harvest Moon

I love planning parties especially the details, mostly because I love to make my friends and family feel welcomed and special.
