This past year we did some major landscape renovations. After getting quotes from landscapers which were over our budget, we decided as always to do it ourselves.

Backyard Spring 2012 after some landscaping. Clearly more work had to be done and I needed a better location for my veggie garden. The past two growing seasons were not so great - bad soil, not enough sunlight...etc.

We rented a bobcat to even out the slopes and brought in 15 cubic yards of topsoil to fill in where needed. In the process we uncovered 1200 lbs of concrete that the previous owners had buried from their destruction.
Our backyard friends were curious about the work.

I finally got the pond I'd been dreaming about.
